PREreview November User Research Design Sprint 1

Join us for a special year-in-review PREreview design sprint the week of this November!

We’ve improved a lot this year, updating our design, review workflows, user profiles, PREreview clubs, as well as how you search and discover content on prereview.org. Our community design sprints have been fundamental in ensuring that we are improving PREreview.org for the better and in line with what you, our members, most want and need. Now we want to make sure that the changes we have made work for you and what future updates we might want to make in 2024. Help us shape the future of PREreview together!

We will offer $100 USD* honoraria to workshop participants in appreciation for their contributions. Registrations are on an individual basis and are limited to 20 participants per sprint.

Each call will last 90 minutes, you only need to register for one of our two November sprint slots. All participants must be registered via Eventbrite in advance of the call. Please do not share private joining links with others who are not registered. Deliberate multiple registrations may result in you being uninvited from attending this and future design sprints run by PREreview.

This sprint will take place between 12:00 - 13:30 UTC (find your local time here) on Monday, November 13, 2023.

In advance of the call please:

• Set up your profile by clicking on the “My details” tab at the top of PREreview.org.
• Review a preprint using our Structured, Templated, or Free Form PREreview workflow.
• Learn about PREreview Clubs and, if you’re interested, consider starting a new club.
• Explore the rest of PREreview.org and keep track of what seems easy to find and what seems difficult to find as you go.

Please note: Upon registration, you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to join. In order to join on the day you need to click on 'view event' then 'view event details' and then 'open in Zoom'. We also recommend you add the event to your calendar and please let us know if you are unable to attend so we can reallocate your place to someone else.
